One More Season is a single-player American football life simulation game for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored and what you can delete.
One More Season is published by Khalil Salloum, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the publisher.
The short version
You don't create an account with us. Your athlete and career data are stored on your iPhone. A copy leaves the app when you make a manual iCloud backup or choose a share destination. The app also uses Apple's StoreKit for One More Season Pro and Game Center for achievements and leaderboards.
Version 1 does not contain analytics, advertising or tracking software. We don't operate a server that receives your career data.
Information stored on your iPhone
When you create an athlete, you can enter a name and choose a home state, position and avatar. You can use a fictional name. The app stores those choices with your fictional career, including game decisions, seasons, statistics, injuries, relationships, finances, History, challenges and achievement progress.
The app also stores settings such as haptics and sound. This information is kept in the app's private local storage and is used to run the game.
Apple may include the app's local data in an iPhone or iCloud device backup according to your system backup settings. Apple manages that system backup separately from One More Season's manual CloudKit backup.
Optional iCloud backup
iCloud backup is manual. Nothing is uploaded until you choose Back up now.
When you make a backup, One More Season sends one complete copy of its local game database to the private CloudKit database tied to your iCloud account. The backup includes your active career, completed careers, game state, challenges and local achievement progress. It does not include payment-card details.
A newer backup replaces the app's fixed CloudKit backup record. When you restore, the app keeps up to two protected local recovery copies so it can recover your previous game database if replacement fails. Those working copies stay inside the app's private container and are excluded from device backup.
You can choose Export iCloud data in Settings to download and validate the latest backup, then send a complete copy through Apple's share sheet. You choose the destination. The app's protected working copy is excluded from device backup and removed when the share sheet closes normally. If sharing is interrupted, opening Settings again, making another export or deleting all game data removes the old working copy.
One More Season does not send the backup to a server operated by us. Apple provides iCloud and controls its own handling of your Apple account and service data. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
One More Season Pro purchases
One More Season Pro is a permanent in-app purchase handled by Apple's StoreKit system. Apple processes the payment and transaction history. We do not receive your card number, billing address or payment credentials.
The app asks StoreKit whether a verified One More Season Pro purchase is active so it can provide access and restore it. The app does not keep its own permanent purchase-history database.
Game Center achievements and leaderboards
If you use Game Center, Apple may ask you to sign in. One More Season reports the Game Center achievement identifier and the completion percentage you earned.
When a life ends, the app sends its score to the Game Center leaderboards: one number per board, plus a small code for the athlete's position and whether the life was played on Hard Knocks. Banned lives and weekly challenge careers are never sent. Other players see your Game Center nickname next to your score. The app shows nicknames and scores only, never Game Center player IDs.
On the Friends tab, Game Center asks your permission before the app can see which of your friends play. You can say no and still use the Everyone tab. The app stores the weekly rank Game Center returns so your Career file can show it.
Apple controls information already accepted by Game Center. You can manage Game Center through your Apple account and device settings.
Sharing a Career file
When you choose Share career, the app creates a Career file image on your iPhone and opens Apple's share sheet. You decide whether to send it and which destination receives it. One More Season does not keep a separate exported copy.
Any app or service you choose in the share sheet applies its own privacy terms to the copy you send there.
Support and privacy messages
If you email support or the privacy contact, we receive your email address, message, attachments and any app, iPhone or iOS details you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate the reported problem and handle privacy complaints.
Email sent to our support or privacy address is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail, provided by Google LLC. Cloudflare and Google may process this information in locations outside Quebec and Canada, including the United States. Cloudflare may retain routing metadata for up to 31 days. We permanently delete support correspondence from our Gmail account within 12 months after the request is closed, unless we need to keep it longer for legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Google may retain deleted data for a limited period while completing deletion from its systems and backups.
Do not send payment-card details, Apple Account passwords or verification codes. You can ask us to delete a support message, subject to any legal reason that requires it to be kept.
This website
This policy and the support page are hosted by Vercel Inc.. The host may process your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested and security logs to deliver and protect the site. That processing may occur in the United States and other locations in Vercel's network, including a data centre near the visitor, and host logs are kept for as long as Vercel needs them to operate and protect the site or meet legal obligations.
The site code does not add advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
Analytics, ads and tracking
Version 1 does not use analytics software or an advertising network. It does not show ads, request Apple's tracking permission or use data to track you across apps or websites.
If a later version adds analytics or ads, we will review that version's data use and update this policy and the App Store privacy answers before enabling them.
How long information is kept
Your local game data and settings remain on your iPhone until you use Delete all game data or remove the app. Up to two local recovery snapshots can remain after restores until newer restore attempts replace them, or until you delete all game data. Apple controls the retention of any separate iPhone or iCloud device backup.
The fixed iCloud backup remains until it is replaced, deleted through the app, or managed through Apple's iCloud controls. Removing the app from your iPhone does not promise to delete that separate iCloud record or an older system device backup.
Apple controls the retention of App Store purchase records, achievements and leaderboard scores already accepted by Game Center under its own policies.
Deleting your game data
Choose More → Settings → Delete all game data to remove One More Season data.
The app first deletes its fixed private iCloud backup. After Apple confirms that the backup is deleted or does not exist, the app removes its local careers, completed-career archives, challenges, settings, pending achievement reports, pending leaderboard scores and saved ranks, backup working files, temporary data exports and recovery snapshots. It then returns to clean onboarding.
If iCloud deletion cannot be confirmed, the app keeps the data on your iPhone and asks you to retry. If iCloud deletion succeeds but local deletion fails, the app explains that result and lets you retry the local step.
This control does not remove purchases from your Apple account or achievements and leaderboard scores already accepted by Game Center. Apple manages those records.
Information we sell or share
We do not sell personal information. Version 1 has no analytics or advertising partner. Information can be handled by the Apple services described above, a share destination you choose, the support provider when you contact us, and the website host when you visit these pages.
Service providers and processing outside Quebec
Apple provides iCloud, the App Store and Game Center. Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail, provided by Google LLC handles support and privacy email, and Vercel Inc. hosts these public pages. We require providers handling information for us to protect it in a way that is consistent with this policy and applicable law.
These providers may process information outside Quebec and Canada. Information processed in another country can be subject to that country's laws and lawful access by its authorities.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about personal information controlled by the publisher, request a correction, obtain portable information where the law provides that right, withdraw consent, request deletion or make a complaint. Most One More Season information is stored on your device or in Apple services, so we may not be able to identify or retrieve it from our side. Contact us and we will explain what information, if any, we control and how the request can be handled. We answer written access and correction requests within 30 days of receiving them.
Quebec residents can learn about privacy rights from the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. People in Canada can also consult the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
